What's your big idea to make Adelphi a recognized center of intellectual and creative work?
In five years, we envision that Adelphi will be recognized as a center of intellectual and creative activity. Among the ways we will achieve this is by adding new academic programs, establishing collaborative and interdisciplinary programs, and supporting faculty research and creative activity. Where do you see strengths, needs, and opportunities? How can you make this goal relevant to what you do on campus or to your connection with Adelphi as a member of our alumni family?
Relevance in a Changing World
What's your big idea to ensure that an Adelphi education will offer relevance in a changing and diverse world?
In five years, we envision Adelphi will continue to be relevant in what promises to be an evermore changing and diverse world. We will have taken the initiative in developing programs that address emerging social, informational, and demographic changes, such as academic programs that meet the needs of the regional workforce, adult education, and online learning. We will emphasize global learning across the curriculum and in cocurricular life, and strengthen diversity, and establish richer and stronger community partnerships. How is this goal relevant to what you do on campus or in your ties to Adelphi as a member of our alumni family?
Student Success in a Range of Educational Goals
What's your big idea to ensure that Adelphi students will achieve a broad range of educational goals?
In five years, we envision an Adelphi with a broader range of achievable educational goals. This means offering experiential and collaborative learning opportunities and enhancing the educational experience of AU students through new services, facilities, and activities. How is this goal relevant to what you do on campus or in your ties to Adelphi as a member of our alumni family?
Growth of New Revenue Streams
What's your big idea to ensure that Adelphi sustains affordability and enhances opportunities for students and faculty through diverse and increased revenue streams?
In five years, we envision an Adelphi that continues to be affordable and provide excellent opportunities to students and faculty. That means increasing philanthropic support, grants and sponsored research, continuing education, pre-college programs, and generating new revenue streams. How is this goal relevant to what you do on campus or in your ties to Adelphi as a member of our alumni family?
